Purpose
What is the purpose of processing your personal data?
At Animal Ethics, we process the data we collect for:
Sending information related to the defense and moral consideration of animals.
Managing email communications with interested individuals.
Managing the organization’s employees and volunteers.
How long will we keep your data?
The personal data you provide will be retained as long as the relationship remains active. However, to ensure full transparency, we inform you that the general retention periods we follow are:
Generic identification data (email, name, surname, phone number, etc.): for the duration of the commercial relationship or until consent is revoked. In any case, it will be deleted when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
Accounting, tax, and labor records (Article 30 of the Commercial Code – accounting books, invoices, etc.): six (6) years.
Labor records: contracts, work hour logs, payroll receipts and contributions, identification documents, four (4) years; in the case of occupational risk prevention reports, records of illnesses or accidents, and contracts with prevention services, five (5) years.
You may always exercise the rights granted to you under applicable law by contacting us through the method most convenient for you.
However, despite the existence of these general timeframes, we inform you that we periodically review our systems to delete any data that is not legally required.
