Create a local group
Creating a local group is one of the most effective ways to give a voice to aquatic animals and mobilize more people to make a real impact in your community.
Moreover, it can be very simple. You don’t need prior experience—just motivation and the desire to create change that truly makes a difference for animals.
Gather a team of people who want to take action for aquatic animals. The group doesn’t need to be large; what matters most is commitment.
Plan an activity to carry out in your area: a documentary screening, talks at schools, discussion or reading groups, etc.
After the activity, evaluate what went well and what could be improved—then start planning the next one!
